Responsible Leadership for a Resilient Ashland

Why I Ran for Ashland City Council

Our current economic environment presents serious budget challenges to our city, businesses, families, and individual workers. I believe in Ashland’s resilience and as the 2019 Citizens Budget Committee Chair, I want to be part of the solution. We have an economy strongly dependent on tourism, the impacts of which pervade both COVID-19 and smoke events. Solutions will require a culmination of city, business, and resident representation.

  • From my time in industry I have experience with business development, project management, strategic planning, financial analysis, and budgeting.
  • In service to Ashland I have developed quality working relationships with councilors, city staff, and community members. These relationships are essential to participating effectively in the public meeting environment.
  • As a mom, and business professional, I stand for an economically sustainable city supportive of residents and families.

If elected, I will leverage my leadership skills and business experience to help solve for a prosperous future.
